From experiencing the initial symptoms of dementia and diagnosis, to needing specialist dementia care, our care services are available at all stages.

Residential Care

Residential care allows individuals to be able to enjoy living in a community while receiving respectful and expert care that is entirely tailored to their needs. Hazelwood Care Home provides varying levels of medical and wellbeing care to all while encouraging independence for those residents who might find it difficult to manage a household, fulfill personal care, or look after themselves at home. This care type allows residents to treat their home as their own and go about their daily lives as they usually would, taking advantage of the various amenities available on-site.

Nursing Care

Within our home, we are also able to provide nursing care in our dedicated Primrose Unit. Our dedicated team of registered nurses are highly skilled and qualified to provide exceptional nursing care. Our residents have access to nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Those with more complex needs, such as a physical disability, a long-term illness, or end-of-life care, can be cared for by our compassionate and attentive care team. We treat each resident with the highest respect and care by going above and beyond to ensure that all residents, as well as their loved ones, are satisfied with the care they receive.

Respite Care

We are also able to offer respite care; enabling residents to rest and heal while also allowing caregivers and family members time to unwind and shut off for a while. There’s no better way to soak up the grandeur of the town’s Georgian heyday than exploring these colonnaded walkways, lined with boutique shops and cosy bars and cafés and visitors can do this by walking along The Pantiles. Dunorlan Park is another beautiful spot for peaceful walks. This park is a great place to unwind for relaxing strolls and picnics as well as providing plenty of green space for families to play and feed the ducks.
